SPECIAL EVENTS
NOVEMBER IS VETERAN'S MONTH IN FLORIDA
Below are just some of the events going on in our Post and surrounding areas.
november 2nd, bike fest downtown arcadia
AmVet volunteers will, again this year, participate in this annual event as a vendor. We will be selling pulled pork sandwiches, which were a big hit last year.
november 11th, veterans day parade downtown arcadia, 10:00 AM
AmVet volunteers will drive and/or ride in a WW II jeep promoting AmVet Post 60.
november 14th, veteran's dinner
AmVet Post 60 volunteers will host a dinner free to all Veterans. Time and menu information to be posted. Date is subject to change.
november - auxiliary 60
During the month of November the Ladies Auxiliary 60 will have tickets available for a drawing of a Patriotic Basket. It will contain a wreath, stone coasters, wind whirly, drink mug, drink coozie, and lottery tickets. More information at the Post.
